In an upcoming horror PC game called Hello Neighbor, you play a character with voyeuristic tendencies. You’re obsessed with sneaking into your suspicious next-door neighbor’s house to see what secrets he’s hiding in his basement, sort of like Tom Hanks in the ’80s film The ‘Burbs. What makes the thriller game fun to play, though, is that your secretive, shady neighbor AI will go after you if he sees you snooping. He even learns from the way you play, taking every mistake you make into account to get better and better at catching you. He’ll install CCTV cameras if you once snuck in from his front door, for instance, and memorize the shortcuts you’d taken while running from him in the past. It’s as if you’re actually repeatedly sneaking into the house of a real person, who’s getting real tired of your antics. You win once you reach your neighbor’s basement and reveal his secret despite all the traps he laid out.

Sonic Mania isn’t the only Sonic the Hedgehog game that Sega has planned for 2017. At tonight’s Sonic the Hedgehog 25th anniversary celebration at San Diego Comic-Con, Sega also unveiled the first teaser for Project Sonic, a new game that seems to share some traits with Sonic Generations.Project Sonic is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It’s also bound for Nintendo NX, Nintendo’s still secretive next-generation gaming platform.According to the game’s teaser trailer, Project Sonic, like Sonic Generations, will feature two variations of Sonic the Hedgehog: his modern incarnation and the shorter, chubbier Sonic that hews more closely to the original character model from the Sega Genesis era.Beyond that, the trailer doesn’t offer too many specifics. It calls the game’s setting “the darkest of times,” and it shows Sonic sprinting through a dreary, ruinous world apparently destroyed by robots. The trailer encourages players to “join the resistance” and dates Project Sonic for holiday 2017.

A point and click adventure game with magic realism elements that tells the story of a young lady who gradually realizes she is forgetting her own name. Is she really losing her memory or is there something else that could explain the strange circumstances?
The story happens in a quiet little town where a few ordinary and strange characters live together. Including a World War II surviving soldier to an elephant taking shelter in a man’s cottage hoping to become a human. There is one thing all these characters have in common: they are losing something. It could be a name, a husband or even someone’s sanity!

When Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was announced a while back, one of the major questions surrounding it was when it would actually be released. Well, it seems that the game will be coming out sometime next year.
The Ni no Kuni games are an interesting role-playing game series as they famously include the talents of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli. The latter also includes the likes of composer Joe Hisaishi.
The result of this collaboration meant that Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on PS3 had a decidedly classic anime feel to it.

While the PS3 game was very well regarded on its release, it only went onto sell around 1.5 million copies worldwide. Normally, that would be a decent amount of sales but the production behind the game wasn’t trivial.
Thankfully, Bandai Namco seem keen to support some more games in the series and I am hopeful that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will fare better on PS4 than the original game did on PS3
Aliens aren’t new to the massively multiplayer online gaming arena, but they’re certainly not as prevalent as elves and gnomes. Tabula Rasa helps balance things out even further, with its universe of secret extraterrestrial artifacts, chainguns, and hulking space creatures. But it isn’t just the setting that makes the game interesting: An action-oriented combat system and a unique Battlefield-esque system of control points add some flair to the proceedings.
Megaton Rainfall is a First Person Superhero Game. You control an indestructible interdimensional superbeing with an immense destructive power and faster-than-light flying capabilities, and your mission is to save the Earth from an alien invasion.
Accelerate from 0 to mach 10 in 5 seconds, fly around a real-size-Earth, get out of the atmosphere, the solar system and even the Milky Way in less than 1 minute from any location. You can destroy entire skyscrapers (unintentionally) when you miss your target… Just like the aliens, if you let them to do so.
Run, jump and butt-slide in the glorious world filled with Henk action toys! Become a master of momentum and defy physics as you race against a band of ragged action figures 90s to once and for all prove that the action Henk is the fastest of all!
Henk action is a game about a figure trying to relive his heroic past. Henk used to be the fastest of all in the 80s and 90s, but nowadays there is not much of its former glory. He is challenged by his rival Dr Antony, and is out to prove he still has what it takes to be the fastest.
Henk action is a high-speed platform game in which the player must run through the short levels as quickly as possible. The gameplay is all about maintaining momentum. Configuration is very simple, but there are many subtle tricks that can be applied to shave those precious seconds.
To facilitate this, any move in the game is based on physics, and each player input has to do with the management of the acceleration and friction. This means that there is no speed or maximum speeds hardcoded, there is the application of force. Consequently, the jump is also done by the addition of force, rather than setting a speed hand.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is a charming open-world adventure game due for release next year.Set on a huge island with eight biomes that have their own seasons and day/ night cycle, Yonder’s hero will have to explore the idyllic paradise to root out the evil “murk” lurking there.
Your character is customsable by the sounds of things, but it’s not clear whether the options are limited to choosing between a preset male and female avatar.Another puzzler is combat. The trailer doesn’t feature any and the only object being carried around is a lantern.“The hero of Yonder will explore the island, uncovering its secrets and the mysteries within them self as they embarks on a journey of self-discovery, while saving Gemea and its people. On the quest to become the island’s champion, he or she will join forces with natives and Sprites, ethereal creatures whom are the only thing capable of dispersing the murk.”
Gamers that spend their free time playing on either Microsoft platform, namely Xbox One or Windows PC, will be able to get a taste of the surfing life in a new game coming soon: Surf World Series is expected in 2017 and is produced by UK-based developer Climax Studios.
Surfing enthusiasts will find that the game is accurate when it comes to what it showcases. To be more specific, you will be able to take up surfing in locations iconic in real life, such as Hawaii. Singe player adventurers will be able to compete in many challenges laid before them. To be more exact, we are looking at around 45 single player challenges that will keep you coming back for some time. If you prefer multiplayer, however, there is a place for you as well.
With up to 15 player-controller surfers looking to take your title, you will be able to compete and prove your skill against. Across three different game modes, test different areas of your surfing expertise and claim the title.According to the developer, surfing wasn’t properly represented in the gaming world — which is true. If you take a step back, you can easily see that there is no proper surfing experience in gaming that can compete with the likes of soccer, football, or basketball. Players interested in mixing their passion or curiosity for surfing with an arcadey, light-hearted experience can check out Surf World Series and get a bit of both.
In action, The Culling looks a heck of a lot like Far Cry. There are lots of animations for the weapons and the island would feel right at home in just about any of those games. In concept, though, The Culling is clearly inspired by movies like Battle Royale and The Hunger Games. These types of scenarios are an entire genre of manga an anime in Japan, so we wouldn’t be surprised to hear that The Culling does especially well over there. The coolest thing about the game, though, is that there can be only one winner.
You can go all Rainbow Six from the onset and team up with your buddies, but you know at some point that said buddies are going to try to take you out, too. So there’s an interesting math in trying to determine at what point you no longer need your friends and, more importantly, can you take them out without dying yourself?
We’re seeing trust issues becoming a bigger focus in some games like the upcoming The Division, and it is certainly an interesting mechanic to play around with.If all of that sounds like a twisted good time to you, then you can jump into The Culling right now. The game will cost $14.99 standard, or you can get it for a discounted price of $13.49 for the time being. That special pricing ends March 11.
