Within the PC the first name that comes to mind is undoubtedly that of The Sims, a range capable of selling, since the first title in 2000, something like over 100 million pieces, just enough to identify it as the most success in the history of gaming on personal computers.
The concept of the game, created by the imagination of Will Wright, is as simple as it damn able to whet the curiosity of the players, especially female: create digital alter egos of themselves and the people with whom you interact normally in real life in order to live, in the game, an alternative life. In this context offers the player a wide range of choices and customization, ranging from the definition and aesthetic nature of his subjects to the choice of the house in which to make them live, sbizzarendosi in choosing furniture, wallpaper, plants and anything else you can come in mind between objects that normally constitute the support of a real home. New Sims retain only 6 of the 8 needs that the distinguishing previously, namely: hunger, bladder, energy, fun, hygiene and sociability. The system of Desires and Fears was replaced by only Desideri, which will be the objectives that will guide the actions of our character. As regards the spiritual sphere instead there will be about sixty personality traits to choose from and it will assign a variable number from 2 to 5 to each Sim, depending on whether an adult or an infant. These traits will be positive, as friendly, negative, or neutral as paranoid, such as being vegetarian.
As mentioned earlier, the most revolutionary aspect of this third installment is the fact that Sims are no longer confined to the lot of their home but can get out of the house and wander around the neighborhood in real time. You can then explore the city center and get in stores, in restaurants, gyms (although you can not really explore the inside) and so on and get close to the houses of the other Sims and watch them as the AI of the machine governs their lives in an absolutely credible. In this version you will need to work your Sims to earn necessary to lead a decent life; the aim will present new job categories, as many as 12 to be precise, as the military, food, crime, etc. that will be developed through several awards and career advancement, in many ramifications that will lead to equally different standards of living. Graphically, The Sims 3 is very well made, and looks more clean and complex than the previous episode. This is not a revolution for the eyes, but taking into account that now the engine must handle many more things, first of all Sims AI controlled acting in a more or less independent of the player, you can also understand the requirements rather demanding required entitled to turn smoothly. Excellent animations and facial expressions of the characters, which contribute decisively to put ourselves in their vicissitudes and make them credible.
